Cosmetics a la carte, high prices, but fantastic quality.

Being of the fair skinned persuasion, it can be a little tricky to find foundations and concealers that blend well and don;t look too dark or too chalky, so if you are a milky thing like me you start to build up a fair but of knowledge on ranges that cater for all skin tones.

Cosmetics a la carte are an independent company, who sell an in house range developed by make up artists, so the products are really incredible quality and are extremely useful.

They also offer makeovers and make up sessions, and can show you how to do a great evening look, or help design your look for your wedding.

This is a great little shop-unusual and well designed with a good selection of specific products on skin care for all ages and all skin types. I have what seems to be their most popular item - the al a carte click-in Colour box system which allows you the freedom to make up a palette of any type of eyeshadow,cheek-colour or lipstick shade you want. The eye lip or cheek colours costs anything between 10.00-25.00. If you are not happy with the colour of your foundation then these people will be delighted to mix one for you-something that matches your complexion exactly.At 30.00 pounds I think its extremely good value as are the make up lessons from 40.00-150.00 if you don't know how to put on you make-up.
