I'm finished with Virgin Wines and I'll never use them again. In the last year their attempts at customer service keep dropping to a lower and lower standard and their wine is boring.

Enter Great Grog.

I had a look through the website which has some real gems and decided to stump up for a case for Christmas. I picked out twelve bottles and sent off my order. It was confirmed by a real person within hours and the next day a man in a Great Grog van brought the wine to my door, when I wanted it, and I gave him a cheque. Done.

The wines have been spectacular although I've still got 6 left.

If you're in Edinburgh, Great Grog will pop round whenever is convenient and drop off your wine in their own van. If you're outside Edinburgh it'll be couriered for free. If you want to go down to the warehouse and pick it up that's fine too. Need some recommendations? Just ask. These guys seem to bend over backwards to help, which, considering they are up against the might of Virgin Wines et al and their advertising budgets, is just as well because word of mouth spreads the news when places like this exist.
