I agree with Mouche, THe Real China is the worst restaurant in the world. The restaurant has the most ideal location. it is existing purely on the merits of its location and not due to its quality of service. They claim to start dinner buffet at 7 pm. but i am sure that you would find the doors closed even if you were to reach the restaurant at 7.15 pm. by around 7.20 they let you in. once you are in the restaurant, you are in for another shock, as you will find that the food is yet not laid for serving. They are not ready with food till 7.30 pm. By the time all the dishes are ready to serve its around 7.50pm. By this time you will be so hungry that you could digest hell. Then when you help yourself with the food soaked in oil, that is enough to fuel a jet flight to Argentina. When you cut a piece of the put the morsel in your mouth, u will loose all the taste bud. The food IS HORRIBLE. But by this time, u would have run out of patience to move to another restaurant, and u may continue eating there.
At the end of the dinner, when u help yourself with ice-creams, u will find the need to get yourself a sledge hammer to be able to break the hard ice-cream and be able to eat it.

Real China is the worst Chinese restaurant in the world. Officially. And the biggest shame is it has so much going for it and it still manages to serve up utter rubbish. The location is lovely - right at the end of Hounslow high street, just the place shoppers will look for a nice lunch after trawling the shops. The building is attractive and spacious and even the decor is not bad. But the food, the food. Atrocious doesn't begin to describe it. They do the regular lunch buffet with about 50 different items. The sad thing is that none of the 50 tastes good - even the bought in ice cream was so hard I couldn't eat it for ages. Though I realise Chinese starters do tend to be fried, you could run a Hummer for a year on the amount of oil used here. And the rest of the dishes are either too sweet or just bland. Avoid.
