If you go to Marks and Spencers in Kingston, just be aware that the shop is in two parts and you need to cross the road, Othwehise you may spend a lot oftime getting lost

Good old M&S remains as boring as ever… rails of the same of the same , the same colour , same design as last year and the year before and they call it classic! they never have smaller sizes. Per Una is ok but sometimes the colours are garish. The store is fairly large and laid over 3 floors - the men’s and homecare sections are across the road.
I think the food section is smaller than the Oxford Street branch. The magazines and newspapers are nice addition. There is a Bureau de Change on the 2nd floor next to the returns counter. I do not find staff at the branch that helpful and they come across as disinterested ( the Saturday staff are better and interested to help )

Kingston can boast a really great shopping choice nowadays. The High Street stores upgraded themselves when the new Bentall centre opened several years ago .I believe that this is one of the biggest Marks and Spencer stores in the country. Now we don’t live near Kingston I am really missing it. There are two sites ,meaning that Menswear and Home are separate from the fashion and kids, etc.Not too far away from each other though. My favourite department has to be the 'shoe’ dept and 'Per Una’. A great selection in both and by far the largest range I have seen.
Kingston is a great place for shopping but don’t take the car at Christmas time.Use the train.

Marks and Spencers has two stores in town – almost across the road from each other. The main store has womens’ clothes and food the other mens and homeware. The main store is on several floors and can be quite confusing especially trying to find the foreign exchange on the top floor! In some ways M&S has moved with the times and is still a great choice for essential basics – prices of these can be quite keen - although this is directly related to Primark nearby which is worth checking out before this type of purchase. The legendary quality of M&S staff is not what it once was and it can be quite difficult attracting an assistant when you really want one. Food as good as ever but very pricey.

This is my favourite M&S in the area. It is a large store which has a large selection (if a little confussingly laid out!), there is a food section and all the usual departments. It’s based in the shopping centre which is very handy and can be accessed directly from a car park.

Marks and Spencers has lots of lovely gifts and goods that you can buy. THey also do a food department where they sell most foods you would find in a supermarket, and the quality of the food is excellent, i would definitely recommend it.

Very good sized Marks and Spencers with a massive food hall. The food is generally always delicious from here and there is actually a wide range of products available. It is obviously more expensive than other grocery stores but the food really is superior and lovely as a treat. This store also stocks womenswear, menswear and childrens wear as well as having a lingerie department on the second floor. The shop does tend to get quite busy and clogged as it is also used by shoppers as a thoroughfare to the shops behind.

The food section has the most delicious food! Even though it can be pricey compared to other value supermarkets, you really get good quality here. They do the best 'to-go’ food and there sandwiches always sell out so it’s best to get there early for the best selection. The staff are very proffesional. A great treasure.

They have two big stores in Kingston Upon Thames one is a mens & home ware shop and the other larger store has all the rest. Great food selection and cafe in the main store. Lots of space and many different lines. Also has good card section and cheap prices.

The main store has all you might need and is a flagship store for them. The food section is one of the biggest I have been too and they get very busy at the weekend. The cafe is also good but at lunch or tea time the queues are sometimes very big

A large but not overwhelming branch of UK perennial High Street favorite M&S. Considered one of their more significant stores, it usually has decent stock levels, along with a handy ordering desk to help you track-down the item you’re seeking.

My preferred section is Limited Collection - for stylish on-trend clothes and accessories - which could often compete happily with designer brands. The top floor has all their renowned lingerie ranges, categorised in relatively easy-to-find themed display units. However, in some respects it can get confusing here, from time-to-time, as they do like to move departments around.

Perhaps it’s a good thing to have the menswear together with home and interior items, in a separate store across the road; you have to be pretty determined to want to visit both on the same day, so it could be one way of limiting your expenditure or avoiding a battle with the other half…

Marks and Spencer is my favourite department store of all time. John Lewis may be better looking and Selfridges may be more posh but nothing can beat good old Marks in terms of good quality good value stuff. And the best M&S I've been to has to be the one in Kingston upon Thames. The Oxford street one is good but so big one tends to get lost in it. In Kingston they've solved that problem by splitting it into two stores on the same street - men's and women's. Very handy when you want to prevent your other half wandering off to look at ties while you're in the fitting room! The women's store is very well laid out over four floors (if memory serves me right) and though usually busy, is never overcrowded. there are always staff available to help and they also offer a personal shopper service. They have a special wedding section with beautiful gowns for the guests as well as the bride. And of course there is a really wide selection of clothes for all occasions in all sizes. This is the only place I'd go to buy clothes for myself.
