best fish n chippy in the area. Great place to go after a heavy night of clubbing!

I have been eating at Tony’s Plaice for over 20 years, this is a wonderful family run business, with three generations working in the shop. Tony’s parents are a permanent fixture, and the place would not be the same without them. The food is fresh and tasty, and they are always willing to accommodate every need, I have seen may shops come and go from this parade, and Tony’s have stood the test of time. The success of his business is because Tony sees every customer as a friend, and knows us all by name. I could travel for cheaper, but the quality and value cannot be beaten.

I like this place because they are very friendly and you always get a lot of food. On top of that their prices are really good too!

I personally don't like Doner Kebab's but my boyfriend does, according to him this place does them very well!

Normally I go for Chicken Kebab's and I must say, that this is something they are not good at at Tony's. They taste nice, but the chicken still has it's skin left on them, which goes all slobby and it is not nice when you get this in your mouth. Also, their sauces are not very tasty either, taste kind of cheap.

Now back to the good stuff! The chips are massive and chunky, yum! The burgers are good and so are the red sausages.

The Cod is amazing too! One of the best Fish'n'Chips I have ever had! Since I am writing about it now I think I'll have to pop over, made myself hungry!

Excellent...better than most coastal equivalents. Only had better in one other...Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall!
