Caffè Sant'Eustachio

Great place with a marvellous coffee... Watch the prices ! Outside it costs 5 Euro more...! Italians seem to love this café...

A "must-drink" espresso - even for those who aren't espresso fans, this one is so good with such a thick head of creme on it. Many call this place the best coffee in Rome (and that's saying a lot)! Can get other coffee specialties here, and visit the Pantheon right around the corner.

I don't normally drink coffee but had to try one here. Had an espresso. It was really good. Coffee normally leaves a sour after taste when you ve finished. But this just left a burnt coffee flavour in my mouth. It s a good gift shop if you need to buy something for your parents.

We read about this cafe on Frommer's guide, being a coffee lover I definitely had this on top of my list. I had read that the best way to experience the coffee here is at the bar. SO we did exactly that. We paid at the cash desk, got the coupon, took it to the barista and had our gran caffe served almost immediately. The espresso was definitely not like any other I have tasted in Europe, it was distinct and left me craving for more but I didn't want to be a caffein infiltrated junkie on my trip to rome so I stopped myself on ordering more. I don't know about their secret but I bought a tin of their coffee and I have to say it makes a very good and aromatic cuppa, better than illy and it's likes and not any more expensive.
It's a must for every coffee lover who wants to experience a slice of rome.

A bit of a tradition when talking about coffee in Roma. You'll get expresso like nowhere else. I was told their secret lies in the high pressure and type of sugar they use to create the most strangely foamy expresso I have ever taste.
Definitly a place to stop by if you haven't. They also roast their beans on site, so you'll smell that fresh roasted beans from streets away. A delight!

DER KAFFEE in Rom, natuerlich espresso!!!! die haben da eine spezialmischung mit einer besonderen creme. einfach himmlisch. im zentrum, beim senat. empfehlenswert. hier trinken auch die einheimischen ihren kaffee….ehm, espresso!
