hi theres one in cheetham hill off bury old road at the back of the royal bank Scotland’s.. also it has its own car park it sells really good fresh fruit and veg. so worth a go ..I dont no the managers name or the correct address but thats were it is and they have only just opened.

Hi every one, i bought Chicken from Worldwide Store in Rusholme which was really really bad, it smelt really bad and when cooked it tasted awful. Please worldwide sort out your act. Stop selling us bad meat, this is now second time this has happened to me and i know other people who have had the same problem and have now stopped buying meat at worldwide.

As a student, this place was rather amazing for the variety of foods you could buy in such large quantities at times. When you live in Rusholme or around the Rusholme area, you of course are exposed to the delights of asian/mediterranean cuisine first-hand and for those students who wish to try these delicacies at home, this is the place for the ingredients.
For day-to-day foods, I prefer LIDL/Tesco however for large quantity rice/cooking oils/asian cuisine, this place outdoes all the rest. 5-stars.
Definitely a place in my heart from my time in Manchester at uni.

no question- worldwide food store are a good asian supermarket and i have shopped here for 4 years
be very careful with parking here though. you are allowed to shop and then go out into rusholme for a bite-1 hr, but you cant do the reverse- you will be charged 100 pounds-reflects greed rather than trying to deter people from parking here for more than shopping at the store
they thus lost a good customer in me and my friends

This a great place to buy fresh and usually locally-grown produce along with essential herbs, spices, rice, and oils. It also gives you a chance to walk the aisles and ponder many of the foods that are exotic to most people in Manchester. If you enjoy cooking and you live in the Rusholme vicinity, you should do some of your food shopping here. They’re open pretty late, too (until 10pm).
By shopping here, I also feel good because I know I am supporting a local business.

While the jumbo tins of oil and 3 feet tall piles of juice cartons may make you think that this is just a wholesale cash and carry type place, it is well worth a visit to stock up on basics as well as more fresh items.
If you're a student, come here to buy your rice or pasta in bulk at the start of term - you know you'll need it. Also it is a good idea to buy oil, dried herbs and other cupboard essentials here for much much cheaper than any of the main supermarkets.
Being in Rusholme obviously means that they stock more exotic foods, which can be a bit overwhelming but definately worth a wander around, though who really knows when you'll need a "doody" or "rose petal spread" in your everyday cooking?!
Worth a visit, if only to get the basics, but they also do great deals on fresh fruit and vegetables, located at the back entrance of the store, which mean that anyone on a budget but still looking to hit their five a day should choose here to please both their wallet and their health.

Never had a problem with their meat, ever! Live in the area so almost always buy from there.
Maybe its just your bad luck ‘honest’-mo or maybe your trying to run a smaller butchers shop locally ;)
