Best Western Hotel Helmstedt, Helmstedt

The hotel is directly located at the highway, below the "Tank-und Raststätte Helmstedt Süd". Pleasantly surprising therefore was the quiet in the rooms facing the highway. Noise protection is perfect. The equipment of the rooms is standard. PayTV is not available in December 2007. I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the personnel at the reception, all questions are being answered competently. Value-for-money is outstanding. You will find bargains on the internet, i.e. 2 people for Christmas in a double-room with breakfast for a total of 50 Euro per night. Incredible! I shall test the restaurant during one of my next stays. But this in advance: they had an interesting offer for Christmas: A duck for 4 people including one bottle of red wine for 59.90 Euro. Of course the restaurant was fully booked. This hotel can certainly be recommended at all times to anyone visiting Helmstedt.
