The Castle Inn

This must be one of the best restaurants I have eaten in years. I used to go to the Fat Fowl when in Bradford, but it disappointed me twice so I was recommended this place. The food at the Castle is fab, I had to go there twice for the two nights I stayed in Bradford as I simply wanted more. My mussels were deliciously fresh and cooked to perfection in a yummy sauce you just wanted to eat more of, the chicken livers and bacon as a starter was superb, again another sauce to die for. All in all well worth a detour to Bradford on Avon. But please note that parking close to this place is well nigh impossible as it's opposite a busy mini roundabout and they only have spaces for a few cars. Leave the car in the centre then and be prepared for a few minutes walk up hill to work up an appetite... enjoy!

Fantastic all rounder. It has a lovely large garden (with great views) for the summer and it catches the sun for most of the day. At the same time the interior of the pub is really well decorated - very cosy in the winter with the fires going. Finally, the food is amazing. Good old pub grub but also some more adventurous dishes. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous pub with amazing boutique hotel style bedrooms with massive beds and luxury en-suites! Great selection of real ales, tasty pub fodder & comfy interior. Seriously recommended.
