Compliment

This is simply my favourite restaurant in the world.
With an ultra modern decor and leather sofas, you dine on two levels, each very well lit. This restaurant's claim to fame is having the biggest stone oven in the northern hemisphere, impressive considering that the home of pizza is Italy or the USA, depending on who you believe.
As for the food, it's amazing. The best pizza I have ever had. Whilst the physical size has shrunk over the last two years, the quality is amazing. Everything is fresh and you will not get the standard pizzas that you'd find in bland chain restaurants or elsewhere. Ever considered a pizza with sour cream in the middle and roast potatoes? Or Black pudding as a pizza topping? This restaurant has these and other random ones, all named after cities, and divided into regions. Its been a challenge of mine to try have every pizza on the menu.
The atmosphere is young, and its very targeted towards under 30's. But that doesn't mean paying West End prices. The most expensive pizza to date is one of the seafood ones (i think its the Bangkok) and its 8.95. Not particularly cheap, but beats Pizza Express prices anyday. On average, the pizza costs between 6 and 8 pounds. However, the drinks are exceptionally pricey. A bottle of beer or cider will set you back £4, and a milkshake or cocktail will look more like £6. But you get so much value for your money, it never really bothers me.
And it can get busy in the evenings, with a wait time of about half an hour, with only the small bar to wait in. And a word of warning, my ex and my housemates have done this, but it is very pricey if you wish to book a large number of people in for a christmas dinner or party, where, to be honest they let themselves down with a limited menu.
Also to get the best value, you can get a 10% discount card off the website, thats eligible for a few places around covent garden, like the international, dirty martini and rock garden.
So have a look, best time to go is undobtedly lunchtime, when they have decent offers (free wine), and as my mate said, its a good place to take someone for a first/second date.
