“The newest addition to Glasgow's bar scene promises to do things a little differently. Located at the heart of the city centre in Drury Street, on the site of the old O'Henry's Bar. The bar is set over three floors and has a capacity of nearly 200. ...” more...

Had the groupon deal. Very good indeed. Helpful, attentive staff - great portions. Remember, it is a city pub. Both of us enjoyed it and will be back.
pleaseantly suprised after the fat boab experience, the night we went in it was packed to the rafters and the band playing were excellent. The atmosphere made the pub both from the clientelle and the staff - there was a good time being had. Would defo visit again - well done.

New Bar opened 15th September 2009, formerly Fat Boab's. Family orientated !!!
Excellently renovated; friendly, welcoming Staff; Food + Drink prices average for the area during the day but spirit + mixer price seems to increase by £0.70 when there is a band performing. I think £3.50 for a Vodka & Tonic is a bit steep considering the same drink and measure is £2.80 in similar bars in the area.
Several well-known Local Bands play here; also have an Open Mic night on Tuesdays and an Accoustic night on Wednesdays.
Thought, on first impressions, 3 Stars might be increased when more familiar with it but based on the prices wouldnt consider this at present.

Dragged along by a friend who wanted to catch a band here. Wasn't keen as I knew this place as Fat Boabs which didnt enjoy a great rep. However was pleasantly surprised. Friendly bar staff who have kept the eejits out that used to frequent 'Boabs'. Good place to relax and enjoy some good music. I follow the Glasgow live scene quite a bit and I would recommend it for folks who like their live music in settings such as The Cluth or Scotia. Food looked above the average pub fayre but will try some on next couple of visits.
