This is quite a good pub - if you are a scruffy student! Indy music, bad clothes, even worse hair! A complete no go if you are a normal person. The drinks are expensive, the decor is naff and the staff - well let’s not go there! A group of skint students crowded round a bottle of cheap red wine - each one of them with a straw discussing the war in Iraq or some other political bollocks that they have no idea about! It could have been quite a hotspot - but as usual the students ruined it!

I have only been here once but it was a nice pleasant place to go to if you want to sit and hang out. There is a pool table, and food served only weekdays. The staff are a little cold, but the place is really nothign special. It seems to be always quite empty, as people normally gather over the road to the New Cross Inn. Apparently it is turning into a gay bar, so i will keep you updated. It is an alright pub, but doesn't have much atmosphere, or life to it.
