House of hoops is the only specific basketball place in central london.
Just do it! I wandered into Niketown to get a new pair of trainers. I did not expect the excellent level of knowledge and service I received. They videoed me walking and jogging in a neutral pair of trainers. Based on this they recommended a particular pair and then videoed me again so I could see the difference! Awesome!
My absolute all time favourite one stop for all my sports wear. I always have the klatest trainers, as good footwear is very inmportant. I walk alot and exercise evry day so I must have a comfortable style. there is always lots of choice and quality and design is excellent. I think this is the clothing of choice for the future lifestyle.
The store is amazing due to of different reasons:
1- it is very beautiful, big (3 floors). The products are highlighted and give incentive to buy.
2- The staff are friendly and is very available to advise you.
3- you can find every products of Nike and even product that you never see before.
4- They have 2 big parts for shoes and there are all shoes, all colors.
5- The football section is beautiful and you can find all sizes and all teams which wear Nike brand.
6- We can believe that as it's a Nike store the price are high but it's not the case. The price are average.
Finally, there is a part for women, one for shoes, one for football, one for football shoes, one for tennis and one for clothes.
The store is on Oxford Circus place just in front the way out of the underground.
Great range of Nike sportswear acorss different sections. With sectons for football, gold, tennis , basketball etc. It is great for all your sports needs. Although can be quite expensive!
Excellent high quality stuff here - also get the latest of the latest in terms of innovation but you do pay for it. Design of the store is pretty cool. They have a good range of all their products. The help that you can get from assistants in terms of for example choosing a running shoe or product is great. They should be able to assist in every aspect of Nike’s Range. I remember seeing an innovation 'lab’ of sorts in the store. Be aware - you could spend more than you plan to. This store is on the corner of Regent and Oxford Street - you should not miss it.
This is a large sport store selling, well spots gear. It is a well known brand and is very fashionable and popular both for people who are sporty and for people who just want to wear comfortable relaxing casual leisure wear. There is a huge range to choose from such as t shirts, bags, jogging suits, tracksuit bottoms, trainers, bags and sports equipment. You are also more likely to find limited edition Nike products in this store. There is no particular age range for this store as children and adults both like the products it sells and Nike also sponsor certain sportsmen and women.
This store is great for sale times. I would suggest going in before hand and getting familiar with the store layout. They offer so much in terms of new products and it quite funky.Even If you only have ten pounds in your pocket, you can pop in and buy something.
I think that the Nike Town in London is an awesome spectacle. The presentation and organisation is inspiring and a completely new approach to selling sporting goods. I also think that it is the way to go. TO me it seems to merge sporting equipment with funky and 'tredny’ for want of a better word. I think it is a shame that it seems to attract premium prices for the products, but I guess that is just the law of the market. I genuinely enjoy shopping in the store, whether I am purchasing or not. It is a truly awesome experience.
If you like sports and ever need to buy sports wear then this is worth a look around. Even if you aren’t up for buying anything it is just nice to wander round as it’s a bit of an unusual shop. Its big and caters for all types of sports. Set over a number of floors different areas are set out for different sports, so there is an area dedicated to football, another for tennis, another for swimming and so on. Its unlike any sports store i’ve been in - its layout is good, and its a bit swish so to speak.
Its along oxford street near regents street so its also used as a good meeting place being right outside of oxford street tube station.
Love Nike? Then you’ll love Nike Town! Located just outside Oxford Street station this place offers you everything Nike, from the Basketball section to the great football section! I love the Manchester United book inside! Fantastic rare book to browse through. The design your own trainer booths are fab. The best place to get your Nike related football T-Shirts printed on. All Nike fans will love this place.
man what a dreamland of sportsgoods ..the nike shoes on display mademe want somany i dint need .. fab place tosee must visit
I remember when this store first opened and it was such a big deal - I’ve never actually bought anything in there but I went in there so many times just to look at it, that’s how novel it was. The decor is so inusual and interesting, and it seems like there are endless areas to wander through. It’s having a big makeover at the moment, so although i haven’t been in there for a while, I may have to pay it another visit one it reopens, just to see what wonders they’ve come up with this time.
It’s an immense shop of all things Nike. Shoes, clothes, bottles: anything the company makes is here. You can test your running style to get shoe recommendations, shoot some hoops, or buy distance-measuring wristbands.
The floor staff here are as helpful as they can be, but the size of the shop and the fact that it’s always absolutely heaving with people can sometimes make it difficult for them to quickly and efficiently keep track of everyone they need to assst.
The one-stop sport shopping aspect of the place mean it’s where I always buy my running shoes and other gear.
Currently under a lot of construction and renovation to expand and improve, so they don’t have all gear and facilities at the moment.
When I saw Niketown for the first time, I wanted to scream. I really like sport wear and this place has got it all. Trainers, track suits and sweatshirts. The "palace" is amazing. There are so much varieties of items distributed on FLOORS. It’s a one-day adventures guys! The women section is just WOW.I really would not mind working there just to get the discount on so much nice stuff. the Staff is really helpful an....some goodlooking too.
If you are into Nike, this is the place for you. 3 floors of american sporting bliss. From the latest basketball shoes to the coolest t-shirts and hoodies. It's all about Nike town!
Unfortunately, as with most american clothing outlets in london, the prices are steep.
QUICK TIP - Go to Nike Town, find the 4 or 5 items you like (remember the sizes!) and then buy them on eBay from a US seller. You'll probably make a 40-50% saving. Cheeky, but worth it.
