I have bought a pair of shoes from Walk (Knightsbridge) for 90 GBP and after just two times the vamp in one of them fell off and the hill got destroyed. I brought the shoes back to the shop, where I had to negotiate a repair, as they wouldn’t exchange it. (“Our shoes are great, we never had complaint before” – I was told!) The staff was supposed to ring me the next day, to tell me when I could come back - which never happened. I was given a business card with wrong (!) phone number, so after a week trying to call the shop I had to go back there. For half an hour, a man who said he was a manager, was trying to find out where my shoes were. Then I was told to come back after 40 minutes, as the shoes were not in the shop. I couldn’t wait so long (I was already late for a meting!) and was promised by the manager that he would post them to my home address. Two weeks later (and several phone calls to the shop) I still don’t have my shoes. The manager claims he posted my shoes, but can’t give me the exact date: ‘on that day’ he keeps saying.
I am extremely disappointed, as the staff was unhelpful and proved not to care about customer.
I will never shop there again and don’t recommend it to anyone else!

I recently bought a pair of shoes from Walk (Knightsbridge branch), however when I got them home I discovered a nail coming through the sole so that it cut my foot if I walked in them. I took the shoes back to the shop the next day since they were not fit for purpose (they had not been worn outside and I still had the receipt) however the staff were extremely unhelpful and refused to give me a refund even though this was well within my consumer rights.
I would not shop here again and don’t recommend it to anyone else!

I found the best pair of boots ever here, sadly after only 4 months they were so worn (only from walking around in) that they had holes in the soles. I went back to ask for a new pair (within my consumer rights as the shoes were less than 12months old and were clearly of unsatisfactory quality). and the manager was extremely rude and refused to to replace them. The worst part is the boots cost a whopping £160, which was not really worth it considering I only got 4 months of wear out of them..
