What a fantastic addition to London! After a rough (i.e. wobbly!) start, the Millenium Bridge is beautiful. Standing on the either end, and looking across to either St. Paul’s or Tate Modern is very inspiring. The bridge also gives a good view of Tower Bridge. Try walking across at night: it’s a completely different experience.

The addition of things like the Millenium Bridge is one thing that makes London a great city: always changing, never static, at least from my perspective.

Ok, similar to the London Eye (the one time named Millennium Wheel) and indeed anything else the UK did with the word Millennium attached to it - it didn't get off to a great start - but now, what a brilliant addition to London this is. A wonderful view walking across in either direction - you either have St Paul's in front of you or the striking Tate Modern building with views of the other bridges of London such as Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf off in the distance.

It's always a relaxing experience and as someone who works across it every day to work - it makes me think what a great city London is first thing in the morning.

The millenium bridge- aka the wobbly bridge- got its nickname after pedestrians reported a swaying motion when it was first built. Now its nice and secure (or so we hope) and instead can be enjoyed for the fantastic views it gives of the Thames and the path it provides between Tate Modern and St Paul's cathedral.
