almost missable on the way down from clifton is this wonderful Banksy piece. If you're ever in Bristol, it's a must see.

This picture was taken before Banksy said he was a Bristol City fan (aka sh*t head) as afterwards it had blue paint balls fired at it.

Was walking for a good hour looking for this piece of graffiti.

This became one of Bristol’s visiting place on the Park street, I have had a few photo’s of it myself at first…
Any time I walk by people always stop and look, take pictures.

Seeing Banksy’s work around Bristol makes living here so much more worthwhile. When I first moved here I found this picture hilarious as I strolled down Park Street. It spurred me on to learn more about Banksy’s work and I am now a huge fan. Especially of his pieces out in Afghanistan.

This piece makes me smile every time I walk past. It appeared the year I moved to Bristol, and as it weathers I feel more at home. It’s right opposite the council house, but to their credit they asked Bristolians if it should stay and when the vote was overwhelmingly in favour, they listened. Pieces like this make Bristol the unique and creative place that it is.

Despite hating all the other graffiti left all over town, I love Banksy and this is definately my favourite, how does he do it without being seen??? . It is very clever and funny, i think its good to have something in town that gets people talking and smiling as they go past it! I think the council should spend their time getting rid of the thousands of grafitti 'tags’ scribbled all over our town centre instead of worrying about this!!!

I’ve seen some of Banks work around but the one that sticks in mind is the one one that used to be on park street shown in the gallery here at qype. There’s also one of a man thowing a bunch of roses painted on a wall on Stokes croft. Nice to see his stuff around the streets of Bristol.

Yes how did he do this without being seen? It is a great picture with a husband looking down the street, his wife in the background and a naked man hanging out of the window with one hand holding on for grim death and the other covering his embarrassment! Really great, makes people passing laugh and generally wonder how on earth Banksy managed to paint this - it is so high up must have needed a scaffolding. Very authentic, very funny and great art. A must see!

Located on Frogmore Street (opposite Park St) in Bristol. Painted around June in 2006. The window has been painted at the same height as the other windows of the building which is a nice touch & shows an eye for detail! It’s also on a family planning clinic. A few copies of this on other buildings have since sprung up oddly enough! It must’ve taken either scaffolding to be errected, scissor lift or very very tall ladder to complete this stencil, as it’s really high up from ground level, which makes it all the more impressive!

The Banksy is fabulous and can be seen from Park St. I take friends there on their visit to Bristol and point out that the wall it is painted on is a sex/health clinic. The picture is of a man hanging on to a window sill naked as the husband of the woman is peering outside trying to see if anyone is out there. The picture has been there for a couple of years now and it doesn’t seem to have faded at all.
