The Bear Pit has the potential to be a space which people rush to... and not rush through!

This was donated by Banksy, I worked at the hospital when it arrived. the Wallace & Gromit appeal had asked for a donation.. a few weeks later this arrived :0)
This is art!
This is one of my favourite Banksys!
It looks really real and I think, that people, who dont´t know, that it is a grafitty, can think in the darkness, that is real...
I really like this Banksy piece, it is one of my favourite ones in Bristol along with Mild Mild West on Stokes Croft and the Man Hanging from a window on Park Street. I think that these Banksy pieces, along with the work of other street artist in Bristol, really add to the culture and identity of the city. If you are interested in other Banksy work in Bristol as well as other street artist then check out www.bristol-street-art.co.uk
Banksy! SUPERB! See his website (www.banksy.co.uk) for even more terrific murals or paintings (sorry - GRAFFITI!!!) Buy his book, read his philosophy, see his street work. The only people that are disappointed by seeing his work are the bureaucrats. They obviously still don’t understand what it is to be talented and to actually please people, rather than to simply disempower. This picture is classic Banksy humour.
There are many questions surrounding this legendary artist, and just use your imagination…
Even painting at the West Bank, and termed a “guerilla artist”, his reputation is internationally growing! Great stuff!
The sniper and child grafitti is right opposite the BRI and is quietly unobtrusive and fabulous. One more iconic banksy - must see it. It’s quite large and drawn on a wall that’s next to the roof of a shop. This part of town is known for its art and to locals is very well known for the constant wail of ambulancse.
Great street piece by Banksy, located on Upper Maudlin Street (opposite a Childrens Hospital) in Bristol & worthy of seeking out when living or visiting Bristol if you have an interest in either of Banksy’s work or street art generally.
Someone has since painted in something different in the boy’s hand & I think wire has been added by the owners to protect it a bit, but otherwise it’s still looking pretty decent, probably because it’s in a more awkward spot to get to, located above a rooftoop.
