Considering the recent obsession with Subway, Harborne's expanse of offices and shops, and the fact that this is the only subway in the area, it is unsurprising that during 12pm-2pm on most days it is a nightmare getting served here. Last time I went to get a sandwich at about half one last Friday, i had to wait a good 15-20 minutes, which is incredibly irritating. The place itself is actually very spacious, and they definitely need more staff working here, and the place could actually do with a refurb. The windows are dirty, it is always strangely cold (odd during winter months), and it seems a bit dark, dingy and grimy.
Once i finally was served, the guy was quite rude and agitated, which I can understand due to the demand, he was rushed of his feet.
Defintely avoid during lunch hours, and bring a coat!- One of the worst Subways in Birmingham.
