Even if you don't buy anything, it's a great place to hang out: lots of interesting old stuff to look at! And an amazing amount of accessories... Definitely worth a visit.

Rokit is a cool place to buy vintage clothes but its not always the best quality items. There is some organisation in styles but when you are looking for something specific its not always easy.

Lots of good stuff to browse. Occasionally you"ll find a bargain but for a second-hand shop I find it pricey.

My first time to Rokit in Covent garden was equally impressed!.. Really well set out and merchandised made it easy for me to look around.. brought a couple of 80's dresses.. was good to be in town as Rokit is also near other Vintage stores.. I also visited Soho Vintage which was brilliant too if you haven't been you should check it out as it's near.

Looking for vintage in charity shops is time consuming, you rummage through rails, find the perfect item, except it turns out to be too big / small etc.

Well, if you want the perfect vintage look, but don’t have time to rummage, this is the place for you. It is expensive, yes and it fills the gap for busy people that don’t mind paying more. Personally I love a bargain, so it irritates me that it’s so expensive, so not for me but I have some busier (and richer) friends who love it.

I love this shop!
I first went here to look for a retro tracksuit for a tracksuit party at Glasto and was might impressed.
There is something for every one in here, be it accessories , fancy dress, army coats, footwear or just something to complement your unique style. You can find yourself spending a long time looking at all the items or laughing at the fashions from days gone by.
Unlike many Vintage shops the stock is well organized into different sections ( there is even a tracksuit section), making to experience less like going though a jumble sale. There collection of items is widely varied. with lots of thing that surprise you.
The staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable

Rokit have benn going for years - I remember their small (and slightly eclectic) stall in Camden Market in the late 80s, but the opening of this store in Covent Garden heralded them joining the mainstream fashion world.

There’s a large amount of stock here for women and men, covering everything from jeans and shirts to leather jackets, shoes, boots and acccessories. As with anything retro, it’s worth being careful when buying anything: prices here are on the high side, but they are some potential bargains if you know what you are looking for.

At the poorer value end, I think their leather jackets are a bit expensive, particularly given the variable quality, and some strike me as hardly 'vintage’. That said, they occasionally stock horse-hide jackets, which were usually built to last forever and are now very hard to find. Similarly, I just don’t get the absurd prices people will pay for second-hand jeans and denim jackets.

The selection of Shoes and Cowboy Boots is at the better end of the value spectrum, if you know what you are looking for, and can cope with the idea of buying such items second-hand. It helps to do your research first, but they occasionally stock some really upmarket brands at amazing prices (I suspect they don’t quite realise what they have in their stock).

It’s quite a fun place to browse, if that’s your thing, and staff are low-key, (ie helpful when asked but not pushy) which makes a nice contrast to most of the rest of Covent Garden.

If you are a fan of retro shops then this one is a winner. Unlike other jumbled stores, this one is arranged into clothing items i.e. all the hats are in the same place and all the wooley jumpers are in the same place etc. The shop also has a fantastic range of jewellery and there is something in there for everyone. I bought a pair of cowboy boots and a fred perry bag from there for a bargain. As long as you are willing to browse the shop for long enough there is a bargain available for everybody, whatever your tastes.

This Rokit is slightly cheaper than its sister shops (one in Camden and one in Brighton). It has a large basement room filled with retro clothing delights, the usual scruffy, scratchy dresses made of plasticy stuff, detective jackets (or flashers’ raincoats, depending on your fashion-taste) and cool hats and belts. There is the predictable C&A style nerdy jumper collection, with snowflake-patterned red winter mittens to match. But hey, I like it. As long as you’re a size six and don’t mind the itchiness of seventies’ clothing materials, it’s for you!

If you like vintage then you will like looking round this shop. There is definetly an extensive range of all styles of vintage clothing, but £15 for a belt seems a bit steep - i do find it expensive. This store is in the centre of Covent Garden so thats probably how they get away with charging over the odds, especially with vintage being so in.

Camden market may have turned itself inside out, and be full of fake signs for Stables Market WHERE THE ARCHES WERE but rokit carries that bold camden spirit on, albeit at ten times the price. Oh yes, it don’t come cheap. Every time I look at a price tag in this place it’s like someone has come along in authentic leather boots and kicked me hard between my legs, hitting thos sensitive bits which someday may lead to a whole new generation of charity shop surfers. I got a nice big knitted cardigan from here. Only £27! What? If you don’t mind paying lots of money for stuff you could find in a south croydon charity shop for pennies, this is the place for you. Bet you work for a telly company.

A rare vintage shop in that it stocks not only the outfit, but the accessories to match. The staff, although dressed appropriately fashionably, are not intimidating and help you to piece together the perfect assortment of clothes. Although some of the the one-off items can be expensive, most stuff is good value with great retro-vintage flavour.
A bargain basement way to keep up with celebs in the fashion stakes

I found this place by accident, and I’m glad I did – what a cool shop! It’s just off Neal street in Covent Garden. They sell “vintage” and second hand clothing, shoes, bags, accessories… you name it. There are not enough stores like this in London (or so I am aware myself) and it was a great chance to find some original pieces! If you need help, the staff are really friendly, despite their uber-cool appearances. I love their range of hats and scarves, and you can really find some bargain one-off pieces that nobody else will have!

Rokit is a vintage and second hand shop that sells vintage shoes, bags, coats, jumpers hats scarves, jewellery and most things that you can wear. It is quite small but suprisingly reasonably priced and of course all the items have that "unique" feel about them.

Staff are helpful but keep their distance and dont make you feel intrusive in the shop unlike other boutique style shops. Overall there is a good atmosphere in the shop with the staff generally seeming to be enjoying working there and this is topped off by the popular indie/alternative upbeat music.

Five Favourite things in the shop:
1. Large selection of cowboy boots
2. Old/vintage sportswear
3. Variety of jewellery
4. Sweaters and jumpers
5. Good looking people at the till :D
