This new cheap snacks idea looks cheap and good on paper…or rather on a poster in the window of your local subway….but in practice you get what you pay for.
I received a warm piece of bread with a slice of cheese, a couple of bits of pepperoni and some sauce on it. To attempt to call this creation ‘toasted’ would be to take great liberties with the English language. It might have been worth about 99p, but I wanted what I saw in the picture!
Oh..something branch specific? Well this is where I enjoyed (oops…decided to take some liberties after all) the snack…and I had to wait for a while before someone realized there was a customer there, waiting to order . This is a small/cramped snack bar too, even by Subway’s standards.

Like all subways the food in this one is pretty good. You get exactly what you expect. The store is pretty clean, generally there’s very little litter around the shop and the surfaces always seem clean. However, the staff are very mixed. There are some people there who are just very friendly and helpful then there are others who are really rude.

generally a standard subway, tasty sandwiches made in front of you. Standard decor, sandwich options, etc. Unfortunately no toilet though. Not usually a problem as this is a fast food chain.

I went into Subway one Friday at midnigth and they had run out of bread. I was horrified!
I do love the meatball sub though, yum yum!
