Terrible place. Looks amazing, worst service, too expensive rude nasty door staff and bar staff. Needs new management. Its called Vertigo or something.

I was there with my friend on Friday 30th May. Loved it. The view was awesome, music great (just our kind of hip hop), nice staff.. One of my best club nights ever.
And last but not least, lots of nice and good-looking men, didn’t have to dance alone.. :) I miss my hot Italian dance partner from that night.. Gotta go back someday.

Don’t miss this club, definitely worth of paying and even traveling from far!

I am reviewing or rather raving about the top floor of the clubs view....as a club its fine, all the usual stuff. but i was lucky enough to make it to the top floor where the decor is amazing, following the trend of the lower club. u take the lift up to the top floor and step out to a view of london all lit up. its breathe taking. It's quiet more relax in the v.i.p so gives you time to order another drink and take in the views..its a great touuh to a night out, definatly has to be done at least once in your life!!

As you enter the Penthouse your face is scanned and you are made to take a picture for security reasons, which is a great idea to combat or gain justice for any problems that may occur whilst visiting the club. Having said that, I’ve been a number of times and even celebrated my twenty first birthday there and didn’t experience or see any trouble at all.
Once you’ve had your picture taken you are directed into an elevator that takes you up into the penthouse. The venue’s main area is rather small, nevertheless I think there are two or three floors that you can venture around in for a change of scenery and music. Penthouse’s ultimate feature is its beautiful view of London at night time, with the clubs large windows you manage to get a panoramic view of London and literally get to dance with the stars.
Penthouse is another one of London clubs that I would advise being on a guestlist before attending to avoid disappointment. Prices for entry vary greatly depending on your promoter, the time you arrive, the number of people you have with you, who you know and of course the girl on the door – who lets face it, if she doesn’t like the way you look can charge up to as much as twenty five pounds to get in!
Tables are available to reserve for a minimum spend, however I’m not sure what the minimum spend is, when I went for my birthday I managed to get a nice little table and free vodka for the night, although this had been arranged by a particularly reputable promoter. On the other hand, me and my friends have also managed to grab ourselves a table right by one of the windows overlooking Leicester square and we hadn’t reserved – nor do I think we accumulated a bill of their requirements, it just depends how luck you are.
Penthouse hosts a nice crowd of people, everyone seems to be out for a good night of drinking, dancing and socialising. This is a place for dressing to the nines, there literally is no limit to how dressed up you can get for this place. For girls, it appears that the code is to wear as little as possible, as I saw a girl walking around in a long top that barely covered her bottom with a pair of large knickers on! I also spotted Pete Burns in there one evening, I needn’t go into what he was wearing and I don’t advise men to follow his trend!
On the whole a great place to go!

This club involved a lot of waiting, took an hour in the queue to get in the first door of the building, then there's a queue to pay, then a queue to the lift, which is tiny, then a queue at the bar. The one perk was the cheaper entrance we got from the leaflet guys that wander around Leicester Square. The music was ok, but not really my thing. I couldn't afford a drink, so I had to drink Red Bull at £3.50! All in all I personally don't think it's worth the wait but I'm sure a lot of people would love it.

My night at Penthouse must have been one of my top ten nights of my life. The Q was quick, the elevator to up to the actuall dancefloor on the 7th floor was a true experience itself. Purple lights in the elevator really turned my party mood on high. The club was pcked with trendy posh looking people. Penthouse seemed to be a quite rich place, people were not afraid to buy bottles and bottles of alkohol. I felt like I was at a Puff Daddy party.
The DJ played mostly Hip Hop and RnB with a hint of soul. I would like to call it Mature Hip Hop.

The bar was packed troughout the entire nigt, I had to wait 30 minutes before I could have a drink, which by the way was too expensive.

Pro's: Good crowd, Fancy feeling, great music

Con's: Expensive drinks, no airconditioning, quite small for the amount of people let in.
