I did my first secondary school project on 'my local area' with the help of the librarians, it has a treasure trove of local history information. Support your local library.

This is a fantastic library with an excellent dvd selection ( especially if you're into world cinema, classic movies and some of the more obscure stuff that blockbusters might not stock. new releases £2.50 for 2 nights rental, most others £1 for 7 days) also has a selection of vhs videos ( remember those? ) a reasonable selection of cd's ( rock/pop, classical & other genres - 50p each ), a small vinyl selection ( i've never used this but i believe its just classical stuff ) and some other things what are they called?....oh yeah books! also internet access and probably some other things that i've never used so don't know about - was in there just today and i'm pretty sure i overheard someone asking if they could use the piano! - but maybe i need a hearing test. Also the library often has promotions of some sort on ( i've just borrowed 4 dvd's for £2 instead of £4 - a bargain!) and a drop box for returning dvd's when it's closed.

This is a great library. Its huge inside makes it easier to give everyone a wide range of books. There is a childs section, a teenager section and an adult section. There is probably more. There are thousands of books. The library is dived into two floors with available toilets. There are loads of computers, so it is easier to get a computer. There are DVDs, CDs, books and videos.

This is a great library.

This is a very pleasant, new, family-friendly library. There is a wide selection of fiction books, children's books, cds and dvds, and some non-fiction. The staff is very helpful. It's a very enjoyable, non-claustrophobic place to browse for books.
