The problem is not the store it's the customers that use it .cloths are on the floor because of the lazy untidy people who look at then then throw it down .the staff do a great  job under difficult  circumstances. i have found the staff pleasent and willing to help when asked .

I agree. The store is utter chaos. Just because the clothes are cheap, doesn’t mean that customers should just dump them anywhere. Imagine spending up to 8 hours a day tidying racks and shelving only to have them trashed as soon as you have finished. Give the staff a break…it must be sole destroying. If people dont respect the store and the job that the staff do, why should they respect you?

Primark ,New street Birmingham, 24/03/2012, Friday,

I don’t really think that anyone will see such disgusting customer service ever again , even though , Primark is a cheap shop, but now it turns to sh****t shop.

We have bought so many Items and the cashier had mixed them up together so badly that it was kind of impossible to release the Item from each other.
If had option I would never even give one star!!!

God knows why!

I don’t have the patience to shop here – just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean that there’s any excuse for shoddy customer service.

I like a bargain as much as the next person, but I can't bring myself to set foot in this particular branch of Primark - queues seem to snake all over the store, staff are supremely unhelpful and its overall similarity to a jumble sale would surely destroy any glee you might experience should you manage to find what you were looking for in the first place!
I've been to other, better laid out and better staffed branches, so perhaps it's just a case of wrong place wrong time.

Primark is a great store to grab a bargain! Everything is so cheap, the quality is ok aswell. This particulat store is not my favourite. there is not as much selection with the childrens clothes and shoes, or the jewellery. There are still great bargains to be had but the store seems very hectic. There are often clothes/coat hangers on the floor so its not very easy to get around with a pushchair. Last time I came here it was packed, and spend 20 minutes queuing.

I dont even know why I gave it 2 stars. Probably because my mum manages to get some t shirts i can use for doing grubby things in such as decorating. very cheap, not chic, lol. i normally shop at mailbox but i think this shop is a complete joke. im surprised the queues arent starting from the edge of saltley! i have queue jumped once but i dont think its worth the hassle to even shop here. by the time you come to pay for your goods you probably would have earned £15 working therefore your £2 t-shirt has really cost you £17. il stick to Boots, House of Fraser and Mailbox.

This shop can be a bit of a nightmare but … still I go there. If I need some bargain baby gros or a basic top its great. I dont find the things that should fit well do fit me very well but you can be sure to find the basics you need. The queues are often long. It can get very messy, but thats more to do with people who throw the clothes around instead of looking at them carefully and putting them back rather than anything else. Probably worth getting there early. Quality seems ok, but I dont know about their ethics. Otehr primarks are better.

I love this shop, but would advise anyone to get there first thing in the morning because it quickly looks like a jumble sale after a few hours of opening the doors.
The prices are unbeatable and you could kit a child out for about £60 thats including everything.
They also bedding, cushions, throws and pictures.
I have found that the kids clothes come up a little big.
Never ever go on a saturday they queues are so long they go all the way down to the back of the shop

Primark has a fantastic selection of ladieswear, menswear, kidswear and homewear. I go there all the time as they seem to get new stock in quite often.

Me and my other half love this place - so cheap and cheerful! We love their pyjamas especially, and their cheap underwear isn’t bad either.

The quality is good for the price - the clothes might not last forever, but that means you can always look a bit more up to date and fashionable. The only negative point is that it is always busy and not enough staff on tills. Also it can get a bit messy with clothes lying flung around the displays and on the floor too.

Birmingham’s Primark is huge in size, but is also a huge mess! So, although the prices are seriously low, this store is one for those who delight in having to wade their way through piles of unordered clothes.

i love primark for good clothes at cheap prices.
i find it good because they have a huge selection of items, including womans, mens, childrens and household items.
there is 3 floors in this particulary large primark, however the staff dont tend to understand what you say, they are a bit rude if im honest.
the layout is past a joke, clothes are all mixed up, all over the floors, the aisles are cramped(if u can call them aisles that is).
the queing is ridiculous, but if you do have the time and patience then you can get some really brilliant items.

This is one of the biggest Primark stores I have been in. They have a huge selection of stuff at great prices and there is an upstairs to the store as well.
The downside is that it is always packed and clothes get strewn everywhere. Staff seems very slow to tidy the mess up. There is also a long queue to pay but I guess you get that in all Primark stores.
You can pick up some great bargains in there.

I’m going to have to echo a couple of other reviewers in saying that although Primark can be fantastically cheap it’s quality certainly suffers and this store suffers more than most with there layout being frankly terrible as you can barely walk through some of it without having to step over piles of clothes for sale. The store just ahs the feeling of chaos and there really isn’t enough tills for the amount of customers and the queue can often be over 10 minutes (even longer around Christmas).

However it is a Primark and has many fantastic bargains if you can be bothered to put in the effort to find them.

Although Primark is great for bargain hunters the Primark in Brimingham City Centre can be really hectic (at thats on the weekdays!) The store is very chaotic and not set in the best layout….there are definately better stores elsewhere! That said it is great for high street fashion at low prices, with some fantastic copy items that you would see in places like Topshop but for a fraction of the price!

The Primark store in Birmingham is situated in the city centre, just outside the Bull Ring shopping centre. It is just around the corner from New Street train station and is therefore very central and easy to get to. The store is set over three levels and has both escalators and lifts so it is suitable for those with pushchairs and wheelchairs. The ladies section on the ground floor however always seems quite disorganised and even first thing in the morning the shelves are stands are often in a mess. This can make it very difficult to see what they are selling and I think the staff could do more to keep the clothes tidier. The shop is however extremely busy and can be a nightmare to get round once the crowds of shoppers pile in. The lower floor and upper floor are better organised and are much easier to manoeuvre around but the ground floor, where most of the ladies wear is situated, can be chaotic. The store sells some good bargains but they can be difficult to find due to the store being a bit messy and disorganised.

This is one of the busiest Primark Stores I’ve ever been into. The stock is generally in a complete mess and you can’t find what you are looking for, the staff just don’t seem to bother one the store has opened.

Queuing for the checkouts is also particularly painful, whatever time of day your visit the queues always seem to be huge and the serving staff very slow at processing.

The store also never seems to get any of the special items that are advertised in magazines. Altogether there are definitely better Primark stores to be found, although this one can be useful if you are short on socks or jewellery.

Yes it’s cheap, and everyone else is wearing it, and the quality may not be the best, and it’s often similar to sorting through a jumble sale, but for holiday clothes, an emergency going-out outfit, or simply to stock up on little black t-shirts for work, this place is the best.

It has an absolute multitude of clothing, and the prices are simply unreal - you can get an outfit, including shoes, jewellery, bags and other accessories, for under £20 - and THAT my friends, is truly bargainous.

Primark also copies the latest fashions from the main high street stores, and the designer brands, so you can more often than not get exactly the same look for a fraction (and I mean a fraction) of the price.

Not as good as the merry hill primark in terms of organization but they do have plenty of stock. As usual the price is very low and so is the quality. I am tending to buy less and less as it has a very poor life. Usually busy in here too but can be worth popping in for a 'bargain’.

This Primark is the worst I have EVER been too!
Its really messy and unorganised. The clothes can generally be found in a big messy pile or on the floor. The layout of the shop is terrible. Womans clothes are spread between the 2 floors and the guys section is tiny…and the ques are always huge!
I really dont like this shop. If you want to go to Primark then I highly suggest going to the one in Hanley,Stoke on Tent.
