Really nice local Italian restaurant. This is my second visit having eaten there with a group of friends a couple of months earlier. Made to feel so welcome with the owner remembering me! Just had a main course this time – Scaloppine di Rosa – as the portions are a bit too big for me :-( As last time teh food was brilliant :-)

I have been going here for quite some time, I know the owners very well.
The person who left the previous comment was very negative.
The staff are lovely and management is always there, they are helpful and always are happy to make my dish which is not on the new menu - it's on the old one. The food portions are massive!! I can never finish my starter or main, but somehow i fit the whole dessert in :)
You can see the food being prepared (if you're sitting inside) which I think is a nice touch.
If there is ever a problem just speak to the manager. Yes the waiters are not fluent in enlgish as it's an italian and they keep the italian theme going throuout which in these days it's lovely. I would rather an italian - who can reccommend food than some londoner who has no idea to what italian cuisine is. I think you would go to pizza hut for that!
Overall a lovely place to go, right next to the river and in the heart of merton abbey mills. Polite service, average prices and lovely friendly staff.

This is a very quiet kind of place and has a quite cold atmosphere. It always seems to be quiet and fairly empty and the staff always seem to be too busy to pay attention to any of the customers. And the ones that do can't seem to speak or understand english. Poor quality food and small portions, no concept of value for money.
