My Hotel Bloomsbury

Was my favourite London hotel. Opened as a small trendy nicely done out boutique hotel and we liked it for that for several years but it now looks and feels very dated and is no longer worth the extra cash. Many happy memories and wish it well but won't be back unless we hear of appropriate changes and evolution.

I’ve stayed here twice & liked it both times. It’s a funky hotel, but not pretentious, as some funky hotels are! The rooms aren’t huge but not a shoebox either, & there’s a cool little library / den area downstairs where you can chill out.

Breakfast was included when we stayed & was served in the bar - nice fresh orange juice, fresh bread & pastries plus fruit & the healthier stuff.

It’s also walking distance from Charlotte Street for some good bars & eateries.

The My Hotel Bloomsbury has a lovely little bar available for hotel guests and private functions. My Hotel Bloomsbury is decorated with marble flooring, mirrors and glass. Monuments and statues also adorn the hotel and the bar area.
While the surroundings are definately pleasant to the eye, the drinks prices are somewhat over priced. With fruit cocktails costing more than a glass of wine (fruit cocktails being approximatley 6 pounds and a very small glass of wine costing around 4 pounds), this may not be the best option for a cheap night out. Nethertheless, it's perfect for a small, private gathering.
