Wow, chocolates are amazing a bit on the steep side but adds to the enjoyment somehow!
Has to be one of the best chocolate I’ve ever tried! absolutely delicious, melts on your tongue and the flavours are divine!worth every penny!
We sent £several hundred worth of these out to clients! Feedback has been awesome, and the ones I tried were probably the best chocolates I’ve eaten. £2 for a single chocolate is obviously a lot, but for this quality it is justified.
I love this shop! Yummy!
A true favourite of mine and the family! Would recommend a visit! Bit pricey but worth every penny!
So yummy, me and kids love it x
A large variety of chocolates.Chocolates which you will find no where else.Really good worth having.
the chocolate is consistently good. sea salted caramel anything is always a favourite of mine, and whilst i like it here, it is better at L'artisan du Chocolate, but their chocolate isn't as good!
Paul's flavours are innovative and mostly delicious.
The main downside being its not in central/west london. I know, Islington isn't THAT far from central, its just too far north/east for me to be a regular and get to know it better thus improving my opinion...
James Cronin Dear Starving,
Thank you for your kind comments, we're delighted that you enjoy our creations.
You may be pleased to know that next Tuesday (14th June 2011) we will be opening our new flagship chocolaterie in Soho (143 Wardour St at the junction with Broadwick St) also with a full on-site kitchen where we will be making all that shop's products. We hope this is more convenient for you and would love to welcome you there soon.
Bests,
The team at Paul A Young Fine Chocolates.

They look soo yummy!! I will definitely go there and eat as much as I can...
Great to see some make their own Chocs do you send any my mail?
James Cronin We can send some, but not all, of our chocolates out by mail. Some are unfortunately, just too fragile to ship. Please give us a call at either of our shops - 020 7424 5750 (Tues-Sun) / 020 7929 7007 (Mon-Fri) and we would be happy to put together a package for you.
Bests,

If you want absolutely divine salted caramel truffles or to choose an array of chocolates that will blow someone's mind or score you a few brownie points, then look no further.
I am determined to try the marmite truffle when I next come here, or collect a chocolate tulip next time the mood takes me.
This place isn't cheap but every truffle is handmade, very creatively crafted and the quality of the chocolate speaks for itself.
You can also buy small bars of exquisite loveliness too. (Just don't look at the price tag) Instead I advise you to unwrap and taste the chocolate and allow yourself to float off to a cocoa fuelled nirvana.
In winter they make hot chocolate too and ice cream can also be purchased. You can also buy pots of their salted caramel by the pot and I strongly advise you to give this as a gift as it won't last long in your cupboard, and if you had any intentions of being on a diet then you can forget about that one too.
The staff are always very friendly, helpful and happy to assist on any queries. There are also one or two that are generous and let you taste the odd truffle before buying as well.
alexsheppard Love their ice cream! And had no idea you can buy salted caramel by the pot

What a mess! Chocolate everywhere. Great chocolate. Delicious. Expensive.
If there was one substance I had to choke to death on it would be Paul A Young's Sea Salted Caramel...
It is possible that the first few customers to ever try such a thing had a Peter Kay moment a la 'Garlic Bread'. But their bravery would have been rewarded with a juxtaposition of flavours they had never even dreamt possible. Sea Salted Caramel is like mixing a Crocodile with a Bunny Rabbit. On paper it will never work. The Crocodile will overpower poor little Bugsy and not even Mick Dundee will be able to save him from ending up as a fur-ball in the back of Mr. Croc's throat. But for some reason (and I'm no chef here) it just works. The bitter, salty infusion tickles the velvety, honey-rich caramel and they end up in an eternal, passionate clinch. This is no cheap stand-up comedy observation but food-porn at it's best.
I love this place....
