The Bromley Central Library is part of a large building, also containing a theatre, in the middle of Bromley High Street. The décor could do with some modernising as it feels rather drab inside but it’s well stocked and well laid out. The book selection is vast, there are a multitude of audio tapes and even a good choice of TV favourites like Kiefer Sutherland’s 24. Upstairs, the reference section comes complete with a number of computers where you can gain Internet access and a study area means this part is popular with students. The library offers a comprehensive advice service on topics such as finding a new job and starting your own business.
