Review of vans from 7 October 2010

Vans X Teenage Cancer Trust!

With the Carnaby Street Vans store recently refurbished, we thought it was high time we put a little event on to showcase the new layout and new line of products. As well as the new look store, it was also the perfect opportunity to introduce the 'Teenage Kicks' customised Classic slip ons that are being auctioned on ebay from 1st September 2010, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. There was no shortage of interest from celebrities, musicians and artists all keen to support the charity and to play Vans designer for the day, with PPQ, Marina and the Diamonds, Drew McConnell from the Babyshambles, Mysterious Al and Mat Horne to name just a few all getting involved.

The night itself, as anyone who attended will testify, was a resounding success. The store quickly filled with an eager crowd made up of notable players from the UK media including Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Men's Health and GQ as well as a smattering of musicians, artists and bloggers all popping by to see what Vans was up to and to do their bit for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Review of vans from 21 January 2008

the place for vans-addicts, it has always the newest for the brand in store. vans is must for a sneaker-freaker of the slip on, half-cab and so forth. they also have a number of t-shirts and trousers, and a second floor for ladies with cute trainers and other garments.
unlike other brands, vans embodies a style in itself and bears a philosphy of street culture. accordingly, the prices are not expensive, a good value for money taking into account that vans are of high quality. even more, if you dig a bit more you may find extremely cheap stuff around london.
the designs are very personal, and that is why is easy to fall in love with it.
