Award-winning, hand-crafted chocolates entice the visitor here; created by the eponymous owner, at his 'lab' in Notting Hill Gate. The speciality ganache selection is wide and tantalising; many of the (unusual) flavours have gained industry recognition and commendation, amongst them: Sicilian Lemon, Fleur de Sel (caramel with a savoury edge), Honey and Arabian Café.

The staff here are very welcoming and informative and will offer a tempting taste to entice and educate novices. I was intrigued by some of the more curious options including exotic Ylang Ylang and Blanc Manger. The presentation is elegant, in smart red square boxes, and the price - £14.50 for 16 ganache squares - reflects the attention to detail and quality. Worth it for a special occasion treat or gift!

I have to be honest and confess that I can't say no to chocolate! Ever! So when I read about Marc Demarquette producing a range of chocolates for Fortnum & Mason, I researched and was delighted to find that he also has a chocolate shop in Chelsea! There are so many great sophisticated delicate flavours and ranges to choose from that I don't know which to describe first. All I can say is that my favourite at the moment is the Arabian Coffee and I'm hooked. I was also positively suprised by the prices which weren't dissimilar to some of the more common brands. Can highly recommend it.
