Caters for literally every requirement from simple easy going dining to socialising with friends and undoubtedly the perfect venue for watching televised live sports.
Massive Premier league clash today between Manchester United and Chelsea so standing room only but fast and efficient service maintained easily.
Superb venue to relax and enjoy uncomplicated lazy Sundays.

Nice spacious bar, clean and modern interior and premium drinks. Prices can be on the high side, but it's worth it to have a nice environment. Despite the large numbers of pool tables, the wait for one to become available can be lengthy. Good pub food is available at most times.

common room does brilliant cocktails, food and coffee. with comfy booths to sit in and watch sports. also has many pool tables that are cheap to play.

A great place to hang out, have a few beers and play pool with mates. Not had any food there yet, but it looks very nice.
One stange thing however is having to store your card in a security deposit box when playing pool as a deposit. Still, it's secure so not too bad.

Good if you like to play Pool. Loads of Pool tables so you never have to wait long. This is a massive place inside and has a good atmosphere. Plays a lot of sport as well.

The Common Room is a modern take on the pool hall. As well as a pool room with loads of tables (which are charged by the hour rather than per game) there are tv screens everywhere (even in the toilet!) which makes it the perfect place to watch footie. It does get very busy during the big games but due to all the screens you could be sat or stood anywhere and still be able to see the game!
The drinks are reasonably priced and when there is no footie on the music is good. They do good food which is reasonably priced. Well worth a visit, especially if you’re a sports fan!

I love the common room, its much better than usual pool halls, so i dont mind my boyfriend dragging me here! Plenty of pool tables, plus a football table and now a ping pong table! Great cocktails, and often drink offers on too. Cheap pool during the daytime. Can book booths for special occasions as well. Food is really nice, better than usual pub fodder.

Common room is one of the best bars in sheffield, its got a great atomsophere, nice friendly bar staff, T.v’s everywhere! not too pricey, table football, and lots of pool tables.
They also serve some great good too. it gets really busy on a weekend, but thats kind of expected.
all in all, a great bar and a must for anyone drinking in sheffield.

Really nice bar, loads of room, cheapish good pub snacks food but beware saturday afternoons tend to taken over by sports fans! Seems to be quite a 'male focussed’ bar but always good for a quick one on a saturday night! Great location and good music.

This is a really spacious bar with something like 10 proper size pool tables, so it's a great place to spend the night with mates. It's not a dingy place, it's nice and modern, so if you're not that into playing pool, don't be put off - you can still just hang out and have a drink.
