Lower Marsh Market

I am with lisamck on this one. The market can be quite low-key at times and vibrant at other times. I tend to wander down lower marsh every now and again and I always tend to find a good bargain from one of the market traders.

The DVD/CD stall is almost always there and there are two fruit and veg stalls there from time to time. Further down Lower Marsh you will find a few stalls selling general items. There are specific days when you can buy food prepared hot then and there depending on the theme.

The market is a great addition to the Lower Marsh area and I would be quite sad if they’re not going to be there anymore due to all the economic downturns we’ve been seeing lately!

Lower Marsh Market is not one of London’s great market places, or the biggest. But this is a sweet little market with the friendliest market traders that I have ever meet. They remember a face and are willing to do great deals for their loyal customers. They have anything from fruit and veg to underwear to cd’s and DVDs. I would say if you live anywhere near waterloo then check this little market place out.
