The Masons Arms

We stayed at the Masons Arms in Rennington for two nights. We were very disappointed with the room provided. It was very damp with mould growth and paint flaking, the bathroom sink was badly cracked and the room had tired worn out furniture and window blinds.
We found the male owner to be most unsociable, with an abrupt unfriendly manner.
On a positive note the breakfast was ok and the female owner polite. Definitely not recommended.

good accommodation, nothing flashy, motel like rooms away from main building but very near and with nice gardens which have direct access from clean comfortable en suite rooms. The food however is really very good and well presented with a menu biased toward seafood which is what you might expect from a place so near to the sea. The Masons Arms is situated within easy reach of Craster, Seahouses and the lovely Historic town of Alnwick with its famous castle (Harry Potter was shot there) and the amazing Alnwick gardens.
