Gallions Reach Shopping Park

Every week my husband and I go to the Tesco at Gallions Reach and after the rude and appalling service we recieved on sunday the 3rd Feb I will never go back there again. We waited 45 minutes to be served as they had only three people at the tills. The queue was going all the way back to the other side of the store. When I went to the Kiosk to ask if anyone else was going to open up their tills I was told the manager will find out. I waited a further 25 min to get served. It seems that no manager knew what they were doing and there was no announcement at all to their customers to say apologies for the delay. I will never go back there! And I will make sure that no one i know goes there either. Appauling service! shame on you Tesco!!!!!

Brilliant. I recently visited Gallions Reach as I was fed up with paying for parking everywhere else. They've got some great fashion stores for the wife and while she was shopping for clothes I picked up a great new smartphone from the 3Store located inside superdrugs. The guys there were so friendly and helpful. In fact every member of staff I met at the centre was cheerful. maybe its because the place is so relaxed and easy going. I would recommend this place to anyone wanted to avoid the hustle of the high streets but want the quality you deserve. 

i found out about this place because i was EAGER to visit the Bank Fashion store! ive been here about 4 times and everytime i spend! i love this place (apart from the times it smells of egg/poo and sewage!) i love this retail park because its never busy very spacious and quiet. highly recommended if you’re not into staying ‘scuse me, sorry , scuse me’ all the while. 5 stars from m

Decent range of shops here. From male and female clothes shops, including topshop topman, new look, evans, etc. to HMV and Game. There’s a few eating places such as maccy dees and nandos also.
The car park’s quite large, though on saturday peak shopping time the queues both in and out (especially out) can be at least 20 minutes before you’re well clear. It’s just off both the A406 and the A13, and not far from the North Woolwich side of the Woolwich ferry.
Particularly handy for weeknight after work shopping, since a lot of the shops are open till around 8pm.
The nearest DLR station is….Gallions Reach ;o). There’s bus connections in the form of the 101, 262 and 366 (just cheated using the tfl site!).

A welcome addition to the East Ham/Beckton shoppping experience. Gallions Reach has a good range of clothing stores (Evans, Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Wallis) as well as big Boots and Superdrug stores. The layout of the park is a little disappointing - while there’s plenty of parking, everything seems to be spread out a little more than it needs to be. EG, if you’re shopping and decide to go to eat, you have to walk way across the complex to get to the few (Pizza Hut, Nando’s and MC D’s) restaurants. Transport links from Stratford, Canning Town, Beckton and East Ham are very good. Lastly, the Tesco Extra is a great store - evrything you could want to buy under one roof!

Gallions Reach is a really nice shopping environment. Firstly it is all open plan - there is hundreds of parking spaces. They dont have a huge selection of shops but it still has enough to make a day out. What i love about it is that it is never really that busy, and the shops are massive so its so spacious and nice to walk around without being cramped. They have a massive new look, a Tesco with two levels!, a toy store, miss selfridge, topshop, dorothy perkins, burtons, evans, wallis, sport shops, superdrug and river island - to name a few. Its a nice environment to go for a walk. They also have a few restuarants if you want a bite to eat - the usual fast food, but also nandos and pizza hut. I would warn you though that it is opposite a sewage plants and sometimes you will wish that it was undercover as the smell is so bad!!

Lots of good shops usual sort of retail park even though they have everything you need including a 24 hour Tesco it smells really badly of eggs! its worse on a hot day! this is because of a local sewage factory really lets the place down! its common to see people screw up there faces and hold there noses!
the most annoying thing is the Gallions reach station is a good 15 min walk or 4 min bus ride! they need a shuttlebus!

Want to shop for clothes dont want to go 2 Oxford Street then Gallions Reach is the next best thing. With all high street names, theres something for everyone. Clothes clothes clothes..thats enough I think. I canhear you getting ready already!
And theres a great place in the centre with food, drinks and other bargains!
