La Maison du Chocolat

One of the best chocolate factory of Paris I've ever tried!
I particularly recommend the macarons, delicate and so good. The pastries are good too. It is probably there that you can find the best “éclair au chocolat”, believe me, I’m an expert!
To me, the best point of the Maison du Chocolat is that the chocolate is always good, and you’ll never feel sick or replete!

Some of the best (and arguably the most expensive!) chocolate i have ever tried. La Maison du Chocolat is the perfect spot for christmas shopping. I picked up some awesome little treats (all boxed up and gift wrapped) and, although expensive, it's hard not to get swept up in the magic of this place. The lady that runs the shop is a typical Parisian. Everything is "fantastique" and "incroyable" and she takes time to tell you about the chocolates (and the world famous chilli ice cream). Be warned, no English spoken here, but then that's part of the fun isn't it!

Apart from beautiful chocolates they also sold some delicious 'chilli-ice-cream’ and a complete contradiction it was…being both hot and cool!

The best chocolates in the world can be found here! It is hardly surprising the number of people crowding into the shop, Parisian and tourists alike. I am really carried away by this place for its elegance and charm, little boxes tied up with luxurious ribbons with beautiful chocolates inside, handed over to you in a small bag for you to take home unwrap and enjoy. Little delights cinnamon scented, tea and fennel.

This paradise for every self-respecting food lover will introduce you to a lot of new flavours. Surprise your friends by bringing them a whimsical mix of chocolates that will win over even the most stubborn. Enjoy their famous heart-warming hot chocolate! There’s a catch, though: you should stay away from this place if you are addicted to chocolate because you will never be able to leave otherwise ^^
