Pretty much the worst taxi firm I have dealt with - and I have dealt with a lot. And 95%, maybe even 99% of the time, they're great. 
However not so with this bunch - one of the few times around, they were an hour late! I had to make repeated phone calls and he said ten minutes several times, and an hour later I got into a cab who said he only got the call a few minutes earlier. 
Yesterday, they agreed a fixed price to Solihull, and when I got there he wanted to charge me 5 pounds extra.
When I rang the company, they asked me to pay whatever the driver asked. When I asked the driver to charge me according to the fare - he said thats not how they do it. They charge 20 quid for a 9 mile ride down to Birmingham. When i asked to see the fare card - he brings down the time and a half fare. When I ask for the normal fare - he says the one he has is outdated. When I asked him repeatedly what the fare was - he avoided replying clearly by repeating his 20 quid 9 mile trip to airport, or what he had charged other people. He then said it's expensive here, ask the local cab company A2B cars (who he said wear tie's because their fares are so high) how much it will cost. On the trip back I did use A2B cars, and they only asked for a pound more than my previous fixed price quoted. 
Avoid at all costs! Overcharging, an hour late, no fixed rate card or that they avoid telling you about. 

Haha, and shills on this review site to boot - the last last two reviews are blatantly fake. One of which is by the owner himself. 

DO NOT BOOK THIS TAXI COMPANY!! We did once, which was a huge mistake. First we rang to book two journeys – one there and one back. The guy didn’t even take our house number and sounded like he just wanted to get off the phone. We felt a bit uneasy about it so we rang back later to check the booking. They’d manage to change the time of the first journey, and completely forget the second. So we re-booked it and re-adjusted the time of the first one.
Then the taxi arrived for the first journey HALF AN HOUR EARLY! They kept ringing asking why we weren’t outside yet – they were quite rude. We had to leave earlier than planned and not quite ready just to stop them from hassling us.
Then when it came to the return journey, they didn’t show up. When we rang to ask where they were, they told us that there was no booking, that the computer didn’t lie and that we were lying. We were left stranded desperately ringing round other companies. TOA came to our rescue, so I would advise anyone thinking of booking these guys to not bother!!

not the best but not the worst taxi i have used some cars need a good clean tho and most cars not showing the name on side as the law says you should

The worst taxi service I have ever encountered. Even though I had paid in full upfront they didn't bother to turn up for my pick up. As a result I missed a flight and they refused to give me any compensation. They were rude on the phone (telling me to "f____ off" when I asked for a refund), unprofessional and just an awful company to deal with. Even my outward journey they were late for the pick up and then the car had a persistent fault for the entire 90 minute journey. I would never use them again and I encourage you to use any company but Sky Cars.

They are one of the best taxi firms in Birminham. I use them for Taxis and Airport Transfers.

They offer a good service, a fast and quick response time within 5 minutes, cheap rates, a free ringback service, have friendly drivers and friendly staff on the telephone.

I have never been let down by them and use them very regularly to take me to airports, stations, city centre and doctors appointments.

Sky Radio Cars is an excellent taxi firm and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to other customers. Their drivers are punctual, polite and their vehicles are clean and tidy.

Prices are excellent. All you could want from a taxi firm.
