When I get asked by friends from out of town where’s guaranteed to be a good place for a laid back, tasty bite to eat, I always direct them here. I love the spicy penne with a glass of red with dough balls or mushrooms as a side but everything’s good. And dessert’s a must. Good portion size and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Can’t fault the service either. Great offers on pizzas make it a welcome stop off when the pennies are a bit tight but you still want a meal out.

On a Saturday night be prepared to wait a small while for a table, but the impressive wine list is sure to make this time pass quickly, and allow you to absorb everything on the food menu too…
Caprese salad (buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil) is a must for me in any Italian restaurant, and Felicini’s offering did not disappoint. Another favourite is risotto, and this mushroom dish was similarly tasty, while the pizzas and pasta went down well too.
Great atmosphere, especially when busy, with a true Italian feel.
