Staff was very rude and the club itself not worth the hassle and the money!!
Two of our friends (couple in their late 20s) were not allowed in without any reason whatsoever after queuing in the cold for over an hour!
The club itself is in the middle of nowhere be prepared to pay for cab to take you to the nearest station as the bus is not reliable and there is a long walk back to the station.

Well i had mixed opinions of this club, i have been here twice, 1 NYE and 1 for a 21st birthday .
And I enjoyed NYE but hated the other time i attended.
Drinks prices were as expected.
I would return for a final opinion 1

Ok it was probably not the right time or the right night or the right company...I didn't like the music and yet they have several rooms, it's a real maze and it's almost impossible to find one's way in it. Won't go again for sure.

Egg is not for the faint hearted or commercial main stream clubbers i.e if you like head candy don't come!
Egg is for the hard body of us and so it should be.
The guys on the door are fantastic and are on it like a proverbial car bonnet so hopefully Egg will remain for us real ravers. Those that are there for the beats sounds and for the love of house music.
Cant stop wont stop being just one of the many great promotions held at the crazy venue.
Egg = scrambled and i love it.

Went to Egg on Saturday and had a fantastic night getting lost between all the rooms and dance floors. The place is hugely popular with ques at the door throughout the night and morning.
Check out the Met Card as it gets you in for free - it costs £15 at the mo and saves you £15 on entry and its valid for a year (i sound like a salesman but it is worth the small investment and gets you into loads of other clubs for free).
Sleep well the night before because it is open until lunch time the following day.

I spent two amazing nights at the Egg, nice place, good music, huge outdoor space. I wanted to go back last friday unfortunatly they didn’t let us in because I and my friends were a little bit tipsy….So be carefull you have to look absolutely sober at the entrance. People are still very nice at the entrance and gave us a free pass for next friday!
My favourite club in London!

beware the airport-like security screening as you walk in. this place was built for and is best enjoyed with the appropriate chemicals but smuggling them in means breaking out your shoes with the hidden compartments.
once you’re in and lost and you’ve walked into a few mirrors ( the way i did) allow the bass and lasers and LED ceilings to amuse you until Sunday afternoon

i attended an after party at the egg in between xmas and new years. it was very busy and cold but the atmosphere was really good. each room was good, the music was pumping, the lights were very cool in the middle room. it is a little tough to get in if you are a group of guys so if it is possible tag along with some chicks.

becareful if you go to the afterparty you may not get in , if you are a group of men, always make sure you have a woman with you, nice club and garden. its very popular for its sunday after party

Overall a difficult venue. To start with, the bouncers and metal detectors are laborious, not to mention intimidating and you can queue forever outside. Not to say this is a bad thing, knowing you’re secure is always a bonus, but you do wonder what went on before these were installed.
Located just outside Kings Cross, it is difficult to get to, even with a free shuttle bus taking you there and back from the station.
The venue itself is really nice. A great out door area, and three rooms that are really well done out with great soundsystems.
The line ups themselves are fantastic, but the location puts off most from going, so there’s never really a full house.

The Egg is a great venue with a huge warm outdoor smoking/seating area with bar where you can relax from the music, or alternatively various moderately sized rooms with a mix of music. Different nights mean different music, but I would definately suggest checking out their electro/ minimal techno nights. The people and atmosphere was one of the friendliest I’ve seen in London. The bar prices are a bit more pricey than an average pub, but its worth it. The door entry isn’t too bad, and if you go early or email for guestlist you can get in for free. Overall a very good night out.

The metal detectors in the entry to this club were probably a good idea, but it does go some way to showing what kind of place this is. They also served a dual function as they must have sucked my soul out.----
I have rarely been to such a dull and unpleasant night. I’m a huge fan of decent electronic dance music but the pap they turned out left me for dead. Imagine being subjected to magnolia-coloured techno that just doesn’t go anywhere, DJed by guys who just don’t seem to give a damn about the atmosphere. They had some nice ceiling visuals but you can’t put fairy lights in a turd and expect a festive yule log.----
The security and bar staff were unfriendly, there was no cohesive ethos or shared enjoyment and to be honest, most people seemed as though they were pretending they were having a good time to make up for the fact that they’d paid £15 to get in and extortionate money for drinks. Those on pills looked like they were having a better time but you couldn’t escape the fact that they were dancing to music at half volume and with the bass significantly reduced. They would have danced around a portable radio.----
Overall, this place was dire and I will never go back. I was even shouted at for trying to leave. Don’t waste your life in Egg. Go somewhere fun.

It was boring, not very good music, well not worth the entry fee and the pricing of the drink was a joke. I strongly reconmend that nobody ever go here.
