My favourite Indian take away in North London. The food is always good, their vegetarian selection is lovely (particularly the Tandoori Paneer, fantastic).
My meat-eating other half says the quality of the meat is excellent. The breads are made by themselves and the sides are very good too.
The only complaint I’ve ever had was a slightly plastic taste (on a meal that arrived in a plastic box) maybe it had been prepared, then frozen inside that container and microwaved to reheat?
Still my number one go-to take away!
This is without doubt the best takeaway curry available in the surrounding area. I have ordered from there countless times and it is always delicious!! I shall be treating myself to it tonight! :-)

It's really hard to find a consistent, decent curry in London. Just reading that sentence sounds absurd, but having lived in the east for four years there's nothing decent about the mainstream of Brick Lane and I never found anything consistently decent between there, Whitechapel, Stratford or Wanstead...
Having moved north-side and tried a few places I can say that I'm pretty satisfied with Dinner Box. The name may not bring forth connotations of the continent's cuisine, but don't let that fool you: the food is generous, consistently tasty, well spice, they'll make what you like if you ask, delivery is swift, they know who you are on repeat orders and I can safely say it's among the better curries I've had in London... (that's not to say it's the best, as I've had better out in the home counties). Only downside is the occasional tricky accent on the phone, but that's all part of the charm.
Still - ignore the name, this place is consistent and more than worthy of a shot. Chicken Tikka Pathia, Pilau Rice, Naan and Sag Paneer. Thankyou please!

I have ordered from here a couple of times and always really really enjoyed it. Much nicer than most Indian takeaways. The onion pakora's were particularly good (crispy and not soggy like they often can be) and the lamb rogan was really tender. I would recommend it.

Their fancy takeaway menu caught my eye and the food was very nicely prepared - a cut above the usual Indian to be sure, and with great chunks of meat. However the main drawback was that it all tasted a bit bland, so if you like your curries with a bit of pep I would steer clear. I ordered a spicy dish but it had no real fire to it at all. That aside, a great place.

This is a strange one: The food at Dinner box is very good, especially the peshwari naan. I thought I had found my new favourite curry house in my endless quest. But (there's always a but) the first time I had takeaway from here, there were two bits of sharp plastic in my curry. I thought this must be a one off and forgot about it. Some time later we tried them again with no problems. The third time, more plastic, but this time pieces of film like stuff, which I ended up chewing on for a while cos I thought it was onion.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, make me chew on plastic.
So good food, but very questionable kitchen practices. I would suggest Tiffin Tin instead.

Dinnerbox is a different sort of curryhouse - more exotic than Exotic of India (which I would also recommend), less...English if that makes sense. We last had the mixed grill and veggie curry. Both were ace. certainly worth a look at for an upmarket sort of curry. Delivered.

Have had this a couple of times now, and each time been remarkably impressed. We tried the shahi lamb shank and murg palak and these were to die for.
Really good quality fresh and flavourful dishes. Highly recommend.
