I have visited the Empire Theatre a number of times and each of my visits has been a pleasant one.
Built in 1866 the Empire is one of the oldest theaters in Liverpool and one of the best. Even though this is an old building it is stunning both inside and out and its a place I enjoy visiting time and time again as tickets are good value for money.
The Empire is a great old theatre that provides some really good shows my favorite being “Twopence To Cross The Mersey”.
I would recommend the Empire Theatre to all and with Christmas coming up the yearly pantomime Cinderella will be starting soon and this is a show not to be missed as its one of the best shows in the county.

Liverpool’s main theatre. Always great when I visit, although it’s been here ages, it’s well kept and not scruffy. Well organised staff, very helpful. Always lots going on, many musicals.

The main theatre in Liverpool and as such this is where you will see all the big shows. I just wish I could go more often as I absolutely love visiting here. Rather too close to the road which means it can be a bit squashed at letting out time. Entrance foyer is also rather squashed but they do now have the atrium bar so there is slightly more room than there used to be. Basic range of sweets etc in the foyer and the usual gifts, programmes ets. Seats are all usually pretty good, and I love the fact that they have boosrter seats for the children if they’re too little to see. LOOking forward to seeing the big panto here to celebrate Liverpool 08 as they haven’ had a pantomime here for a while.

A beautiful theatre. Top quality shows on all year round. A recnet modernisation has seen teh Atrium- a new bar overlooking the local area. Access by car rail or bus is easy. Taxi rank just behne the theatre, handy for the tunnel, and just a stones throw from Lime Street station. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a lovely, cosy little theatre in Liverpool which I’ve been to a few times. The last time I went, we had fabulous seats to watch High School Musical and had a lovely evening. It’s not a huge theatre but it can be rather manic after the performances inside and outside the theatre, especially if there are coaches galore since they can park alongside the theatre itself. The tickets are actually really good value compared to London shows and I was presently surprised at the cost of the programmes etc. As with all places the sweets, drinks and ice-cream isn’t the cheapest but you expect to pay a little more at a theatre anyway. It’s really easy to reach even if you’ve never been to Liverpool before. The staff are always pleasant and efficient !!

This theatre has been home to many plays I have been to see. I have always been satisfied with the service and can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every play I’ve been to see there. I went to see Blood Brothers there, and loved it so much I had to see it again the next time t was in town. It is my favourite play, and when you are in the hometown of a production, it makes a big difference. I believe that this is one of Liverpool’s best theatres. It is a great night out and always has good ticket prices.

I can’t say enough about this great theatre. It makes for a fab night out! The productions are always brilliant, the seats are comfy and there are a good selection of refreshments available. The staff are friendly and the theatre is well kept and clean. It’s easy to find your way around too. Would recommend The Empire to everyone. Tickets are always reasonably priced.

Lovely, majestic old theatre which has a number of popular shows. Ideal for the traveller as situated beside the railway station. It is also easy to access by car with a multi story car park adjacent to it. In the City Centre so ideal for drinks/meal either before or after watching your show.
