Hot Head used to have a place just a few doors down from here, but moved on, expanded and got themselves their own place where they could strip the walls bare. Literally - the brick and stone walls are as striking as some of the haircuts that walk out of the place.
Maybe its just me, but i like it when you go to get a haircut and they give you a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit or two when you go in through the door. They know what they're doing when it comes to hair too, which a lot of places that are more expensive don't.
Whether you've got obscenely big hair, thinning on top, or thick curls (like my girlfriend, who swears she'd never go elsewhere in Edinburgh for a cut) then i'd say at least pop in and hear them wax lyrical about what wonders they could work with yours. I personally used to never like to spend more than four pounds at any old barbers, but i've been won over, and'll definately keep going back for my dose of hot-headedness...
