I visited the zoo on a trip to Ireland and it is brilliant.
We got there an hour after it was open and all ready there was a fairly large queue and it wasn’t as if the weather was fabulous.
Once we were in the crowds dispersed and drifted off.
The zoo is really well set out with different sections build and designed to replicate the natural environment of the animals housed there. The animals look well looked after and the zoo is spotless.
There’s also a really cool discovery centre where lots of informative talks are given or displays shown.
There are plenty of areas around the zoo to take a rest or stop for refreshment and all the facilities are well maintained and clean.

All in all a brilliant day out
