What a find! Formerly the Tea Room des Artistes, Lost Society occupies the oldest building in Clapham, and old barn from the 16th century. Not that you could tell that it's that old, with their funky art deco decor, which gives it a deliciously decadent feel. The lay-out is unusual and reminds you more of someone's home than a bar, but it works really well. The main bar is on the ground floor as you enter, but there are few seats here, and upstairs in the loft-like room is where all the action takes place. I had to leave early last time I was here but already the whole room had just turned into one big dancefloor.

There's also a fantastic beer garden which even has its own little bar and some extremely hot heating lamps. It's almost like there's a separate party out there! But you wouldn't want to miss out on what the dj's got to offer, he was great.

Drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it, and their selection of beer is just fantastic. In fact, their drinks selection overall is fantastic - very extensive.

Oh, and check out their very cool website! It'll tell you everything about their cool events, and it's worth a visit for its catchy funky music alone.
