I have only fond memories of the Stern--there's something about being in love, walking through the tiny town center of Tübingen, and ending up in the cozy garden with a pint of wheat beer and one of the very tasty salads.
If you're looking for tasty, reasonably priced food and drink, you could do worse than the Stern.
