A good real ale pub, right in the middle of the city centre. Very close to all the shops. A two floor tudor style pub which has long been one of Manchester's oldest pubs. This venue has outdoor seating and has a real sun trap in the summer months. Drinks prices are very cheap but dont expect any expensive branded beers, they dont sell any! This pub also serves food during the day. You can easily buy a round of four or five drinks and still have change out of a tenner. Definately worth a visit if you journey into Manchester.
