I've been roped into going to club 49 twice and have really hated the experience, in my opinion this is a really bad club. Entry is free when its empty going up to 10pounds max.
The drinks are really expensive around £6 is a starting price for drinks like single vodka and mixers which is a lot considering this isn’t a star studded or bankers venue of choice. The music is RNB which I quite like dancing to but this club offers this in a very false 'glam' style which makes it very trashy.
The club is actually very small consisting of a bar and a dance-floor and is often filled only with men (bad door policy) which creates quite a strange atmosphere.
If you're looking for rnb than better to head down to Leicester square - it will have better music, be cheaper, last later into the night and have a better crowd.
