The first thing you'll notice about the Churchill Arms is the huge flower display outside. The name of the pub is barely readable amongst it all. If there is a sports tournament/
war memorial etc. going on somewhere in the world, there's a good chance landlord Gerry's barstaff will have gone all out to represent it with inflatables and memorabilia. There's loads of other interesting collections on the walls an, of course, tons of Churchill stuff. After you're good and drunk, had the spilt drink trick played on you by Gerry and watched the sport, you should move to the courtyard at the back and have one of the best Thai meals in London. Winner of the 1999 Evening Standard Pub of the Year, it hasn't dropped an ounce of quality since. Great for families, dates, meeting mates or a quiet one after work, The Churchill Arms is the ultimate Central-West London public house.
