The Half Moon is a Victorian pub with two bars and a separate live music room. Originally build as a hotel back in 1896, it has a beautiful wooden interior. The public bar has engraved mirrored walls, and an intimate snug bar.
The pub retains all of its original splendour and it remains one of the few live gig pubs in south London. They have a large sunny terrace to the front of the pub, always busy in the summer month and an ideal spot to chat and watch the world go by.
The pub has a long tradition of live music. the list of names to have graced the stage over the past 30 years is very impressive, the Police, Van Morrison an U2 have all played here in their younger days. I`m proud, my dad and my older brother also have been there on stage.
