The District/Piccadilly line station in Hammersmith is great. It is everything you want in a transport hub. It has frequently running trains (on the blue line mostly), information boards, visible staff, benches, kiosks and occasionally, sunshine.
It spills out into the Broadway centre, which is a shopping mall mostly inhabited by big name chain stores like Tesco, Orange, Carphone Warehouse and United Colours of Benetton.
It also adjoins the Broadway bus station which is the main bus station in Hammersmith and Fulham providing connecting services in all directions
