Compliment

The centerpiece of cookbook cafe is the market table--the higher-class cousin of the salad bar. No sneeze guard. No regularly shaped and spaced slots. Just an abundance of fresh breads, salads, cheeses and more, laid out on a nice, big, wooden table. For 12 pounds, the market table lunch also included some soup (I had a delicious pumpkin parmesan one) and dessert.
The service staff is very friendly and attentive. And the large, airy restaurant never seems to get very full. It had a quiet, soothing atmosphere, with lots of clean lines and soft music. It would be a great place for a business meeting, and unsurprisingly, most of their clientele is in suits.
The cafe also hosts classes, and I'd specifically like to attend the Melt chocolate master class.
