QYPE*

We first ate here 3 years ago and it was fab. This time we sat by the bar and waited for our pre-dinner drinks for 20 mins. When the drinks came one was missing so another 15 mins. wait.Our starters were very good and we looked forward to the main courses (we had chosen the Royal banquet).Well, I can only say it was downhill all the way. Some of the food was very chewy and all of it was luke-warm arriving at the table and quickly became stone cold.On complaining we were offered a "special" pudding. We had hoped for the whole meal to be special as we were up from Wales for the weekend. The emphasis was on pushing wine and water-------at £5 a bottle!!Never agian will we pay exorbitant prices for mediocre, cold food.
